On Sunday 11 September New Manchester Walks’s Ed Glinert will be hosting two events at the Portico Library.

* At 11am there is a tour of the Library and the vicinity (the old Georgian area of St James’s). It starts at the Art Gallery.
* At 2pm Ed will be hosting a talk on Literary Manchester with extracts from great works with a local connection, fascinating pictures and corny old jokes. It takes place at the Portico.
