What glorious sights can be found by Manchester’s waterways. There’s the Venetian vistas of the Crown Court, the much-decorated old cotton showrooms along Canal Street and the transformed one-time red light district that is now Manchester’s grand parade ground, The Village.

We will stop for refuelling every now and then before we head into that obscure patch of land by the Palace Theatre and onto the legendary Peveril of the Peak, finishing off by Duke’s 92 in the heart of tourist Manchester in charismatic Castlefield.
