An IRA bomb containing 3,300 lbs worth fertilizer and sugar, the largest ever “peacetime” bomb detonated on mainland Britain, destroyed part of Manchester on the morning of the 15th of June 1996.

Hear the full story and why Manchester was targeted on this extraordinary tour, for Ed Glinert has not only discovered that the pillar box on Corporation Street is NOT the one that survived the blast but he has also discovered possible reason for why the bomb was set off that day.
