The Pankhursts (Talk at Droylsden Library)

Start:
05/09/2018
Cost:
-

This was originally one of five talks Ed Glinert, Manchester’s most entertaining public speaker, provided for the Glossop Guild in 2017.

Here’s a review of Glinert’s February 2015 Alan Turing talk (attendance: 84 people) at Central Library.

“Hello
I just wanted to thank you for your brilliant talk on Alan Turing last night. I had dragged my rather reluctant teenage daughter to accompany with the promise of taking her for tea afterwards. She really enjoyed it and we talked for a long time afterwards. I was hugely impressed by what she remembered and found interesting. Her words on leaving were “why can’t school be more like that?”….
So thank you…..you did very well.
Best wishes
HK”
